Henna art has recently become a big trend with American teenagers. Henna had started in India as a way of body art. You can get henna from professional henna artist, but you can also buy these at Indian stores and online. They still use henna in India for stuff like important event, weddings, and everyday practices. Though henna has been around for a number of years, it has recently become popular in the U.S. Many teenagers get this henna in classic indian henna designs, but some branch far out there getting things like pop stars, cute animals, and many more in the henna ink. Even though most keep it the classic design, there are some henna shops that wont do henna designs because they are too tough. I along with many other people personally think that the classic Indian henna design are better.

Now what is henna? Henna is a clay type material that comes in a tight cone. Then the henna artist will cut a very tiny hole at the top of the cone. They then put the henna design on your skin. You have to leave this to dry and crack off. After that you will see a bright orangish yellow on your hand, don’t worry because it wont stay this way. Over night it deepens in color and you see a beautiful henna design. Henna can last anywhere from a week up to a month without completely coming off. Overall, henna is a beautiful form of Indian culture that has become very popular over the years for it amazing designs and deep pretty color. Henna is not permanent, but it does last a long time. In my opinion, henna is a very amazing form of art that I loved to explore.
