On September 20 the New York Yankees easily beat the Minnesota Twins in a three game sweep, but all of that was overshadowed by an unsettling incident in the fifth inning when Todd Frazier hit a line drive ball in the stands and hit a young girl in the face.

As players and fans saw what happened, the stadium was hushed, and the players stopped playing for several minutes. All of the Yankee’s players knelt down while the event was unraveling.

Every baseball field has netting around some parts of the field, but not all the around it. After the event last night, the MLB has thought about putting netting around the whole field, and a lot of people on Facebook were saying it too. The little girl is ok now, but if they had netting this would have never happened, and it would have just been another happy day for Yankee’s fans.
